The Student who want to make their career in the field of technology, they can Apply for Admission in the Post Graduate Diploma Level Program which is offered through the CIPET.

Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) was established in 1968 by Government of India with the assistance of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) at Chennai. The main objective of setting up of the institute was to develop manpower in different disciplines of Plastics Engineering & Technology as no similar institute was in existence in the country.

Admissions to all Post Diploma Courses of CIPET for the Academic Year 2020-21, at its campuses across India will be made on the basis of Computer based Test conducted by CIPET. This test will be referred to as ‘CIPET Joint Entrance Exam– 2020’, in short as CIPET JEE 2020

Important Dates :

• Online Applying Starts from : 12 January 2020
• Last Date for Apply : 2nd July 2020
• Admit Card will be available from : 25th June Onwards
• Examination Date (All over India) : 12th July 2020
• Release of Counseling cum Admission letter for the selected candidates for admission and Hosting in website (To be downloaded from https://eadmission.cipet.gov.in) : 15th July 2020
• Course will be starts from : 3rd August 2020

Age limit :

• There is no Age limit for Apply this form.

Post Graduate Diploma Courses offered by CIPET : (Approved by AICTE Delhi)

• Post Graduate Diploma in Plastic Processing & Testing (PGD-PPT)

Course Duration :

• 2 years (4 Semester)

Eligibility Criteria for Course : 

• Full time, 3 year Degree in Science. (Candidates appearing for the entry qualification examination are also eligible for the course).

Some Points have to keep in mind before Apply :

• Keep ready the scanned(digital) images of your photograph, signature and Caste certificate (If applicable)
• OBC candidates have to upload caste certificate as per the GoI format. (State BC certificate will not be considered as proof of OBC) Applications submitted under OBC category without a valid OBC certificate will be rejected and no further correspondence will be entertained
• Please note your application number for future reference
• Incomplete application form will be rejected
• Application form will be considered complete only on receipt of the prescribed fees.
• Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances
