Patna University’s Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) known as the Institute of Correspondence. Patna is the first and among the best institutes for distance education in the Eastern region. The university is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and Distance Education Council (DEC) of New Delhi. The university’s Student Support Services include self learning study material, personal contact programmes (PCP), doubt clearing sessions in person as well as over the phone (helpline) and book bank. Admission is conducted twice for the academic year (July to June) and calendar year (January to December).

Application form can be downloaded from the official website and should be submitted at the office along with the Demand Draft of rupees 500.Applications are invited for admission in the following self- financing courses, each of one year duration.
1. P.G Diploma In Marketing Management
2. P.G Diploma In Financial Management
3. P.G Diploma in Operations Management
Eligibility:-
B.Com, B.B.A or Professional degree holders in Accountancy/company Secretaryship etc with at least 45% marks or Graduate in other Faculties with at least 50% marks.
