Over 151,070 students cleared the matriculation or Class 10 compartmental and special examinations conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), results of which were announced on Wednesday. Out of the 231,962 candidates, who appeared in the compartmental exam, 64.53% or 149,703 passed. Last year, the pass percentage was 27.49%.
For the first time in the history of BSEB, the results of the compartmental examination have been declared within 23 days after the examination. The examination was conducted between July 27 and 31, this year. Last year, the results were declared on December 22.
