Kanya Uthan Yojna: Under the Mukhyamantri Balika Snatak Protsahan Yojana, there is a provision to give 25-25 thousand rupees to girl students. The way to get incentive amounts for girl students passing graduation was cleared on Tuesday. An allocation of Rs 50 crore has been made by the education department of the state government. This will benefit 20 thousand girl students. This amount will be available in the financial year 2022-2023 under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana.

According to the report, under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana and Mukhyamantri Balika Protsahan (Graduate) Yojana, a total of 207132 girl students are to be given incentive amounts. From 25 April 2018 to 31 March 2021, 25-25 thousand will be given to graduate pass-girl students. 50-50 thousand rupees will be given in 2021-22. Please tell that the scheme was changed and from 2021-22 this amount was increased from 25 thousand to 50 thousand rupees.

250 crore provision for Kanya Uthan Yojna

This incentive amount is for all categories of graduate students, which will come directly into the bank account. In the year 2022-23, under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana, a provision of 250 crores has been made for the Mukhyamantri Balika Protsahan (Graduation) Yojana.

There is a problem in the implementation of this scheme due to delay in the verification of the certificates of girl students passed out from constituent colleges, affiliated colleges and minority colleges by the universities. The education department has asked all universities to verify pending applications by December 31.
