IGNOU 2023: Indira Gandhi National Open University has started the process of online enrollment in all programs for January 2023 session. For this, the last date for submission of application form has been fixed as January 31. Students can go to the website of IGNOU and enroll online through Samarth portal by selecting subjects and study centers in all programs.

Students can take online enrollment in six-month certificate, one-year diploma, three-year undergraduate and two-year postgraduate courses. Scheduled caste-tribe students taking enrollment in January 2023 session will get the benefit of fee waiver for BA General, BCom General and BSC General programs. According to the norms of the Government of India, the benefit of fee exemption will be given only to those students whose parents or guardians have an annual income of up to 2.5 lakhs. For this IGNOU 2023 the applicant will have to submit the income certificate issued by the government.

IGNOU 2023:  Applicant will need these things

  • Scanned photograph (less than 100 kb),
  • Scanned signature (less than 100 kb),
  • Scanned copy of age certificate (less than 200 kb),
  • Scanned copy of relevant educational qualification (less than 200 kb) for filling the online form Less than 200 kb),
  • Scanned copy of experience certificate (if any) (less than 200 kb),
  • Scanned copy of category certificate, SC-ST-OBC (less than 200 kb) and Below Poverty Line ( Scanned copy of BPL certificate if less than 200 kb).

Rules set for refund of fees A non-refundable registration fee of rupees two hundred will be charged at the time of admission along with the program fee for the first semester/year.

If a student applies for cancellation of admission and refund of fee, the refund request will be considered as per the policy of the University. Fee paid before the last date of submission of admission form will be refunded after deducting two hundred rupees.

Fee paid within 15 days from the last date of submission of admission form will be refunded after deducting rupees five hundred. Fee paid within 30 days from the last date of submission of admission form will be refunded after deducting one thousand rupees. After 30 days from the closing date – no refund will be allowed.
