About us :

Ramesh Jha Mahila College, the only constituent women’s college in Saharsa(Koshi Division) is situated in the heart of Saharsa town linking Railway Station and NH-107, Saharsa, the gateway of rail route for entire Koshi region is well connected to the state capital and other major cities by Rail and Road. The town is famous for one of the Shaktipith “Ugratara Asthan” at Mahishi about 17KM away in the west.

Ramesh Jha Mahila College, founded by Late Ramesh Jhaon 1^st February 1972, became an affiliated unit of L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga in 1973. It became a constitudent unit of L.N.Mithila University, Darbhanga in 1980. It remains as a constituent unit of L.N.Mithila University, Darbhanga till the B.N.Mandal University, Madhepura came into existence in 1992.
