Kendriya Vidyalaya Recruitment 2017-18 Application process for the recruitment of 546 teachers for North Eastern Zone in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) began on Tuesday. In this special recruitment drive, KVS plans to recruit 220 primary teachers (PRTs), 182 post graduate teachers (PGT) and 144 trained graduate teachers(TGTs). All these are group B posts. Interested candidates can apply in online mode only through the official website of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan until 17th October 2017.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
FOR THE POST GRADUATE TEACHERS (PGTs) –
- Two Years’ Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject.
OR
Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in
aggregate in the following subjects. - B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
- Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
FOR THE POST OF TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHERS (TGTs)
- Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
Bachelor’s Degree with atleast50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subject and in aggregate. The elective subjects and languages in the combination of subjects are as under: - Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II, conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
- Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
FOR THE POST OF PRIMARY TEACHER
- Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent.
- Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
- Competence to teach through Hindi & English medium.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
