Patna University will conduct PhD Admission Test (PAT) after four years. The last PAT exam was conducted by the university in the year 2018. Those who want to do PhD can apply from Friday, The last date of application is 28 January 2023. The entrance exam will be held on 25th February 2023. This time PAT will be for total 28 subjects. It has about 500 seats in different subjects. There is no need to involve NET, JRF, BET in this. A fee of Rs 1100 has been fixed for the application. General category students applying for PG or its equivalent examination must have 55 percent marks and reserved category candidates must have 50 percent marks. It has about 53 seats in Chemistry. The least number of seats are in the subjects of Persian, Urdu, Arabic, Sanskrit and other humanities. There are about 40 seats in English in the subjects of the Faculty of Humanities. After this there are seats in Hindi subject.

Step 2: Then, they are required to click on the link of “Online Application form”.
Step 4: If the candidate is a registered user, then he/she can enter their Login ID and Password.
Step 5: If the candidate is registering for the first time, then they will be required to enter all the relevant details which are mandatory.
Step 6: After entering all the details, candidates will get a link on the e-mail and an OTP will be sent which they have to confirm.
