Schools Upto Class 8 To Remain Closed Till January 7 In Bihar Due To Cold Conditions

 SCHOOLS CLOSED: Due to severe cold wave conditions in Bihar, the District Magistrate of all the Districts on Sunday said that schools will remain closed for students studying till classes 8 from January 02, 2023.

SCHOOLS CLOSED: For the past few days, the state has been experiencing severe cold waves. Earlier schools in Bihar were scheduled to remain closed for students up to class 8 till December 31, 2022. In a similar manner, the Punjab Government on Sunday extended winter holidays in all the government, private, and aided schools till January 8, 2023. School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that all schools in the state would not open on January 2 as announced earlier. The schools are scheduled to open on January 9, 2023.

Senior Classes Are To Remain Open As Usual

 SCHOOLS CLOSED: Senior classes like classes from 9th to 12 will remain open as usual all the senior students and teachers will have to come to the school for their studies. The District Magistrate has said that all the senior students have better immunity as compared to junior students. So their classes should go as usual. He also said that the board examination is near and all the students will need some kind of help from the school that’s why it s so much important for us to open the schools. And the practical examination is also going to take place this month that’s why it will not be ideal to close the schools entirely.

He also said that students should remain conscious of their health for the whole time as the covid is rising in recent times all the students who are visiting schools and colleges must wear a mask.

The health department has issued a warning

The health department government of bihar has issued a warning regarding Rising covid cases and advised all the younger students to stay at home. As covid is rising rapidly and younger students have been not vaccinated and their immunity is also low. It is advised to stay at home as long as possible and as the cold is rising rapidly their immunity is going to take a hit and it is the worst time to get covid. so please stay at home and stay safe. And Schools Closed should remain closed.
