BPSC: Has announced that this year negative marking will also be implemented, Once a candidate’s application is accepted by Bihar Public Service Commission for the post of Head Teacher. They have to start preparing for the next selection stage which is the exam. When you’re preparing for the BPSC head teacher the first thing you need to check is the syllabus and the exam pattern. The syllabus and exam pattern are crucial for applicants while preparing for the exam.

  • The BPSC Head Teacher syllabus has been released subject-wise.
  • There will be two subjects for the BPSC Head Teacher exam: General Studies and D.EL.ED. Each section consists of 75 marks.
  • The BPSC Head Teacher exam is for 150 marks with 150 questions.
  • 0.25 negative marks will be deducted for each wrong answer

BPSC Head Teacher Syllabus 2022:

The syllabus for the BPSC Head Teacher exam is available on the official website of the BPSC. The BPSC Head Teacher Exam will be conducted after the documents/certificates verification. As per the notification, General Studies and D.EL.Ed. two subjects will be covered in the exam. The syllabus for both subjects is mentioned below:

General Studies:-

  • General Science
  • Current events of national and international importance.
  • Indian- National movement and the part played by Bihar in it.
  • Geography
  • Indian Polity
  • Elementary Mathematics and Mental ability test.

D.EL.ED

Unit 1

  • Children and their childhood: cultural and historical understanding
  • Context of Child rights
  • Education, School, and Society
  • Understanding the role and effects of various factors in the process of socialization in school
  • Education- General Concept, Objectives and Nature of school education.
  • Various bases/approaches to understanding education are Philosophical, Psychological, Sociological, Literature of Education, History of Education, etc.
  • Concept of Knowledge: Philosophical Perspectives

Unit 2

  • Mahatma Gandhi-Hind Swaraj: Underlining the relationship between social philosophy and education
  • Gijubhai Badheka: outlining the idea of experimentation in daydreaming education
  • Rabindranath Tagore: underlining the role of freedom and autonomy in learning education
