About College:
Govt. Polytechnic, Buxar is situated at Itarhi block approx 10KM south from district head quarter Buxar (Bihar). It is establised by Govt. of Bihar during the academic year 2017-18. The College is a Co-Educational Institution with a built-in area of 20,309 sq.m and with fully equipped Labs. The college library has a good stock of books and journals on various topics and titles. Govt. Polytechnic, Buxar presently offers a diploma courses in four streams of engineering, civil engg, Electrical Engg., Electronics Engg. and Mechanical Engg.

Admission Process:
The BCECE Board conducts Diploma Entrance Competitive Examination for admission in Government Polytechnic Buxar and AICTE approved Private Polytechnic in the State of Bihar.:
Minimum Qualification
Only those candidates can get admission who are the citizen of India and
- Their parents are the native of Bihar.
- Their parents are domiciled in Bihar.
- Their parents are registered refugee of Bihar.
- Their parents are native of other states but employee of Govt. of Bihar.
