About College:

Nalanda College of Engineering is an government engineering college situated in Chandi near Nalanda, Bihar, India. It was inaugurated on 19 November 2008 by the chief minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar. It is affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University. It is a Government Engineering College working under the Department of Science and Technology. It has been established by the Government of Bihar in 2008. It is situated on the holy land where Lord Buddha experienced enlightenment and Lord Vardhaman Mahavir embraced Nirvana. It belongs to the land of ancient Nalanda University where students across the world would study Buddhism. The College has four branches– computer science engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering and electrical & electronics engineering. Each branch consists of 60 students and the total number of students is around 1008.

Admission Process:

Admission to NCE Chandi is entrance-based. The students are required to appear for the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) or JEE Main examination with a good score to be eligible for admission.
