Government polytechnic , Motihari is one of the prestigious institute for technical Education in Diploma Engineering.It is under administrative control of department of Science and Technology.It was established in 2016. Its newly constructed state of art campus with Administrative Building,Academic Block,3-Hostels,workshop,staff Quater was inaugrated by the H’onble Chief Minister of Bihar Shri Nitish Kumar on 1st November 2018.

Admission Process: Students are admitted through Diploma Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) conduct. By BCECE Board, Govt. of Bihar. Minimum 10th pass is the entry qualification in first year (1st Semester) admission. Also the ITI or vocational courses pass student direct admitted in Second year (3rd Semester) through Diploma Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE (L.E.)). It is also conduct by BCECE Board. Govt. of Bihar.
