OMR sheets will no longer be used in graduate level examinations in all the universities of the state including BRA Bihar University. The Raj Bhavan has issued a letter banning the examination on the OMR sheet in the four-year undergraduate course. Its letter has been sent to all the Vice Chancellors including BRABU. In BRABU, the examination of GS in graduation is done on OMR sheet only. Now from the new session, the GS exam will not be on OMR sheet. DSW of BRABU Prof. Abhay Kumar Singh told that the instruction of the Raj Bhavan related to the examination has been received. The new system will be implemented from this session.

In the four-year undergraduate course, the syllabus for only two semesters has been made, while a meeting of Vice Chancellors has been called at Raj Bhavan on May 25 for the syllabus of the remaining six semesters. In this, the syllabus of the remaining six semesters will be stamped and it will be sent to all the universities.

Questions will be asked in three parts in graduation exam :

The questions will be divided into Part A, Part B and Part C.

  • Part One  will have multiple choice questions. There will be ten multiple choice questions of two marks each in the exam. That is, multiple choice questions will be asked for 20 marks.
  • After this, four questions of short answer will be asked in Part B. Each question will be of five marks. That means shot answer questions will also be of 20 marks.
  • In Part C, three long answer type questions of 10 marks each will be asked. That is, long answer type questions will be of 30 marks. The theory exam for graduation will be of 70 marks. 30 marks will also be added for practical and internal assessment.
