About College :
Al Zafar Memorial Education Trust took initiative to establish “AZMET College of Engineering & Technology” in Kishanganj (Bihar), with a view to ensure the proper planning and coordinated development of Technical Education.
It was expedient, under the pressing demand of the Muslim Minority Community at Kishanganj, Madhepura and Purnea, Kosi region, their children were deprived of getting Technical/Professional education. They have to go as far away as Patna, Delhi, Aligarh, Varanasi etc. for technical/professional education.
Al Zafar Memorial Education Trust resolved to establish a Muslim minority technical Institution i.e., a Diploma Engineering college, known as AZMET College of Engineering & Technology, as per provision of Article 29 and 30 of the Constitution of India under the caption of “Fundamental Right”.
